If you want to get married at sea, our registrars are happy to arrange that, but you are responsible for the ship or other transport yourself. If this sounds like something for you, you are very welcome to contact the Marriage Office and we will find a solution together.
Please be aware that you yourself must bring two witnesses to weddings at sea or at the special events.
We will go to great lengths to ensure that your wedding is the way you want it to be.
When you get married, the officiant who will marry you will call you during the week you are getting married, for a small informal chat with you about where and how the wedding can take place, whether you have certain wishes and other details regarding the wedding itself.
On the day: The marriage clerk will meet you at the agreed place and time. The wedding itself consists of the official wedding ceremony accompanied by a wedding speech. Afterwards, there is time to exchange rings and take wedding photos. The ceremony ends with the presentation of your marriage certificate.
