Let Esbjerg educate you

Esbjerg is a young city, and it's a city of education. From the Esbjerg International School for children aged 5-17 to the many possibilities in higher education. Esbjerg has it all.

More than 60 courses of higher education are available, both short and medium length as well as long courses for a master degree at for instance one of our two universities: Esbjerg Institute of Technology – Aalborg University and The University of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg.

As an international student there are several options since a wide range of courses are taught in English. Esbjerg welcomes international students and aims at providing them with a good experience while being in Esbjerg. One example is the guarantee for student accommodation, if you need a place to live.

Esbjerg has its own Student's Centre, “Huset” in the midtown next to the public library. Here you can meet other students, have a beer, listen to music or surf the internet on the computers.

Esbjerg welcomes international students

Esbjerg Municipality has identified education as one of the four focus areas in the growth strategy. This means that the local politicians see education as an important way in which the vision of a cohesive municipality energized by education, business and tourism can be realized.

Along with the local places of education and companies, Esbjerg Municipality expects to invest 250 million DKK in education and research over the next couple of years in order to create even more attractive surroundings for students.
